Spice of Life's Plated Landscape | Cleveland Area Event Photographer

One night. And it was a  d a r k  and  s t o r m y  night...

Last weekend I traveled out to Greenfield Berry Farm in Peninsula, Ohio to attend and photograph a Plated Landscape. It was cold. It was rainy. It was dark. Every natural light photographer's dream come true. (Heavy on the sarcasm.) I pulled into the farm and walked a sweet little trail to a big barn. I was instantly greeted by Jess handing over a hot cider and rum in a thick glass mason jar.

Guests were seated along a linen draped table in the center of the barn. Live music played while the first course of Squash Bisque was served. It wasn't long after that table lanterns were lit and the skies grew dark. Course after course was served to happy diners. Among the favorites were the Beef brisket which was applauded by guests. To top off the evening was an incredible flourless chocolate cake and pawpaw icecream accompanied by coffee and raw milk mocha with double espresso vodka piping hot in a smiliar glass mason jar.

Ben, Jess and the rest of the Spice of Life team I hope you enjoy these photo's. I had a great time and would love to be invited back again.
