Meet Finnley.

I just can't seem to get enough of his sweet little face. Everyone knows I'm a sucker for newborns. They're just incredible. The sweet little lips, the button nose, the baby wrinkles.... I could go on for days.

Finn was just 18 days old. I enjoyed hearing his mom and dad say things like "Oh, well he always does that" or "He likes this..." My favorite thing about motherhood and welcoming a new baby into my life is the feeling as if they've always been there. I could tell that these parents felt the same way. I loved that despite Finn being just 18 days old, they already knew so many things about him. They've been parents for 18 days and they already knew the best way to comfort and soothe him. Isn't that just amazing? As I clicked away and captured all of the sweet little details of Mr. Finn I chatted with his mom and dad. We bonded over how amazing being a parent is. How incredible it is to welcome a child into the world. How in an instant your entire life has changed. Your views, your values... everything. Nothing seems to matter more than the family you've created. Babies are such an incredible blessing. Because a baby changes EVERYTHING. In my case... it's almost as if I started breathing the moment my first child took her first breath. I love motherhood. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
