Dr. Seuss birthday soiree | Colin and Aidan turn 2!

Beth e-mailed me asking if I could capture her little one's birthday party. She had told me all about her theme and her boys and I just couldn't resist. I left my husband in charge of all the kids (our littlest arrived 3 weeks ago!) and was welcomed with a hug from a woman I had never met. Her attention to detail was adorable and after I left I received the sweetest e-mail thanking me for my time... before she even saw her pictures. Is this friendship? I think so!

Erica is my husbands littlest sister. She's the last of the Smith's to get married. I'm so beyond thrilled to have been able to capture some engagement shots for them. The wedding is set for THIS January. Good luck in all the last minute details.

I'm nearing the end of my first year of taking pictures "professionally". I've learned SO much during this first year and I have so much left to learn. Photography has been such a blessing to me. It's given me the chance to express myself creatively, and it's gotten me in touch with so many old friends and has given me the chance to meet so many new friends. I'm thankful for all the memories I was able to capture for my clients. I truly hope you enjoyed your photo's and that I was able to give you something to cherish that wasn't exactly a cookie cutter type of image. It was my goal to capture you as you. To capture the joy in your face while you watch your children laugh, to capture the love you share as a family, or as a couple without having to ask you to say cheese and stare directly into my lens.
I have some great things to introduce next spring. I'm taking this winter off to welcome our third child into our family. With my due date quickly approaching I'm taking the next few weeks (or days as it may be) to enjoy with my family of 4 before it becomes a family of 5. Thank you for all the amazing memories and I look forward to capturing your families as they grow.

Aren't you crazy in love with new love? Engagement sessions are SO fun. The couple is filled with the new engagement butterflies. They're happy, excited, and not afraid to flaunt their love to the world. (Well... maybe a little shy. PDA is still PDA despite a bit fat shiny ring on your left hand.)

I met Ashley and her fiance Jason over the weekend in a pretty busy part of town. They were great sports and were up for pretty much anything.

The "V" family.

Meet "Miss M". This little lady had some gorgeous eyes. She is incredibly loved by her parents and her parents are adorable and still so lovey dovey. They had no problem expressing their affection towards eachother for the camera. I loved capturing them as a family.

Today I'm thankful that I'm expecting a new baby of my own. I can't wait to kiss new baby fingers and new baby toes. the one's I've been kissing lately, although adorable...are older. And there's nothing like having a newborn in the house.
